Bryant Branch Library

JIMA Studio led the full site transformation of Bryant Branch Library, which focused on revitalizing the Library's landscape into a family friendly and accessible community hub that expands their programming and outreach. In order to do so, the proposed landscape considered the following: 

• More welcoming and accessible entrances at the building front and rear 
• Improved visibility from Michigan Avenue for pedestrians and drivers
• Increased sense of safety in the outdoor spaces and noise mitigation along Michigan Avenue
• Expanded green stormwater infrastructure and rain gardens on site to protect the integrity of the building

There are many special moments in the landscape including a children's forested story walk, a bridge over a rain garden and a pavilion for outdoor learning.
